Fredericksburg Midnight Event |
It was warm and dry this year. There were lots of walkers and the people in town yelled "Happy New Year" to us as we passed. Pictures |
| 01/15/05 | Dallas | This was a SWRD's event that started at the Convention Center. We walked with Paul. It was dry and cold. An enjoyable event. Pictures |
| 01/29/05 | Lost Pines State Park Bastrop |
We had cool weather and great trails through the woods. Some wet spots, but sandy soil didn't cling. Great Event. Pictures |
| 02/06/05 | San Antonio | Sunday event following the TVA General Meeting. It was on city streets in subdivision with homes built in the late 50's or early 60's. Nice walk but nothing really photogenic so no pictures. |

This was a nice event. It was misting rain, but it was warm. Pictures |
| 03/26/05 | Coppell | It was rainy and cold. The walk was around several small lakes. Would have been a great walk if the weather had cooperated. Pictures |
| 04/23/05 | Wright Patman Lake | It was cool and dry. The walk was a figure 8 that was along the lake shore, through some woods, and around the park road. Pictures |
| 04/30/05 | San Marcos | It was 50 degrees and very windy. It threatened rain, but did rain while we on the trail. The walk was a figure 8. One loop was along the San Marcos River. The other loop went along city streets to the Wetlands area on the river. Pictures |
| 05/14/05 | Bandera | It rained early that morning but quit before we started walking around 8am. There was a 12K version that included climbing a hill to see the Silver Spur Dance Hall. It was worth the climb. Pictures |

A night walk with a torch portion around the reflecting pool. It was a warm windy night, and it looked like rain but we didn't get any moisture. Pictures |

| 06/22/05 | Cape May, NJ | Very nice walk. The new part of town is just like any town in America, but the beach and the older homes makes this a special walk. Pictures |
| 06/24/05 | Manhattan, NY | Lower Manhattan is a very nice area. Includes the World Trade Center, Battery Park with its connection to the Liberty and Ellis Islands, Wall Street and the Brooklyn Bridge. Great Walk. Pictures |

Fredericksburg Midnight Event |
It was warm and dry again this year. There were around 130 walkers and the route was a change from past years. Nice event. Pictures |
| 01/14/06 | Crawford, TX | New Turtles YRE. We had great weather. It has been very dry so there was no water for the waterfall. |
| 02/25/06 | Bastrop, TX | Walk at Lost Pines State Park. It was cool and rainey. Pictures |
