Walk start point is at McDonalds, 1300 S. Beckham (Hwy 110S). Trail winds through residential areas, downtown Tyler, Oakwood Cemetery and parts of the Azalea District.  Rose gardens and museum are normally open all year during the regular business hours.

Tyler State Park

Walk start point is at entrance to Tyler State Park on FM 14 north of I-20.  There are three trails to pick from, but there is only one stamp.  After walking you can enjoy a nice swim in the lake.  Spend the weekend at the park; the camping is great. What better way to spend some time outdoors.

Kilgore

Both walks start at EZ Mart, 1701 S. Henderson Blvd.  Trails are on city streets.  Both go through the Kilgore College Campus.

Walk start point is the Palestine Fire Station at 511 Ave A. Trail is on city streets and cemetary roads.

Walk start point is at Holiday Inn, 102 Lake St.   Take Exit 19A (Spring Street) off I-20 drive North on Spring to Lake Street.  Walk is on hike/bike trail along the Red River and on city streets.  Passes two casinos and then winds through historic downtown.  Please use caution: as in all large metropolitan areas, we discourage people from walking alone.

Daingerfield State Park

Walk registration is at Ranger Station then drive to starting Point at the pavilion at end of road. Trail consists of park roads and hiking/nature trails.

Quitman

Walk start point is Brookshire Groc. 502 E.Goode St.(HWY 154). Trail is on city streets, Gov. Hogg Historic site, a nature trail, city cemetery, and downtown area.

Lake Bob Sandlin State Park

Walk register at the Ranger Station then drive to the Fort Sherman Cemetery area near the group pavilion. Trail consits of park roads and hiking/nature trails. Caddo, Choctaw, Cherokee and Kickapoo Indians once lived here.
